Kayaking Olympics and Moonlight Paddle | July 3

Kayaking on Little River Blueway

The Kayak Olympic Team is forming and it looks formidable!  This will be a fun event held at Baker Creek Park in the cool of the evening at 7pm on July 3rd.  Starting at 7pm, we’ll work our paddles developing skills needed for kayaking by doing such cool stuff as the Triple Twist Up and Back, The 20 Stroke Backward Paddle with a Twist and a Toss, and other zany events all done in team format (no pressure on you!).

If you were considering joining us, but haven’t registered yet, please email Gloria Bramble  or go to the Power Squadron site : to get the registration and liability forms.

Deadline for registration is June 30

Hope to see you on the July 3 at 7pm at Baker Creek.  (It looks like we will have over 20 participants so don’t hesitate to show up a little early. )  This event is being organized by Janie Clark & Gloria Bramble.
